The word “Hindu” was derived from the land name, “the Hindustan”, but what is its true religion and the founding father of it. Since hundreds of years whole Globe has been identifying Hinduism as the religion of Hindustan or India. And nobody is certain about the Founding Father of this religion and religious text.

Name after River Indus or Sindhu

There is a lot of controversial remarks regarding its religious text . It is a matter of ignorance, since thousands of years people residing in this ancient land of civilization, few knows what is the original or starting religion of this land. Since thousands of years people have been living at the Valley of Sindhu River or Indus River. The population residing at the valley of the river Sindhu was identified by the whole world as the Hindu. That is logically true the people residing at the valley of Indus are termed as “Indian” by the Greek or the people residing in valley of Sindhu as “the Hindustani” by Arabians.

Whether Afghani is the religion of Afghanistan?

The people residing in “Afghanistan” are “Afghani” but their religion is Muslim , not Afghani , similarly people living in Pakistan are called as Pakistani, their religion are not Pakistani, rather Muslim . People residing in England are termed as English people there religion are different from their land name. But in the case of Hinduism, people are identifying the name of religion with the name of their land “the Hindustan” which should be incorrect.

What is the true religion of the ancient civilization of India? As per many saints or learned it is the “Sanatana” religion and as per Brahma Kumaris organization it is “Adi Sanatan Devi Devata Dharma” . As per them in ancient India, deities were residing as the normal human being of today with utmost virtuous and vice less life.

The word Hindu is absent in Ancient Religion Text of India

As the word “the Hindu” was never being mentioned in any important epics of India, that may be The Gita , the Mahabharata , the Ramayana ,the Veda or Puranas, etc so identifying the religion of this land with Hindu creates a sense of doubt . As per the history text book the origin of the word Hindu has come from the Arabian who termed the people residing at the valley of the river of the Sindhu as the Hindu. So Hindu is not the original word mentioned in sny ancient religious text of this land. This word was coined by the people who visited from outside to this land. The land where Hindu was residing was identified as the Hindustan and their religion as the Hinduism.

Still now it is a mystery “which is original religion of this holy land and who the Founding Father is and what is its religious text”. Regarding other religion such as Islam, Christianity or Jews people know their religion, their founding father and the religious text. But regarding India there are so many debatable opinions and theories by different philosophers.

Brahma Kumaris about the mystery of Ancient religion

As many ancient religion text has mentioned the word “Sanatana Dharma” as the religion of this land which means “Eternal Truth/Teachings/Tradition” but originally when god and goddess were there, the name of the religion of this land was the “Adi Sanatana Devi Devata Dharma” as per Brahma Kumaris spiritual University. As in ancient time India was termed as “the golden sparrow”. The land where there was absolute peace, stability and prosperity. The land where there was truth, knowledge and divinity It was the land of milk and ghee, where god and goddess were living on this land which has been adored as the Heaven, Paradise, land of angels, Golden age, etc.As people of this land have been worshipping the deities, who was the forefather of the present generation and were in living form leading their life as we are living today.

According to the Brahma Kumaris Spiritual University the God Himself founded this through the teaching of the Gita , but with time the people of this holy land and the world as a whole had forgotten their founding father of their real religion of this land and as the most ancient civilization , religion of this land should be the ancient most religion of the whole world or the human civilization. As per the God is again establishing this religion for the new age, and the whole cycle of world drama will repeat again. So this the time for transformation.

The Greatest Story Ever Told from Zeitgeist the Movie explains the origin of popular modern religions. The fundamental Sky-Sun Gods of ancient Egypt were Osiris, Horus and Ra. Because of a very large span of time these and other gods flourished in Egypt, there is a considerable degree of overlap & permutation regarding their attributes and stories. Zeitgeist simply encapsulates the general characteristics of these ancient Egyptian gods under the title of Horus. The point of Zeitgeist is to …
Help answer the question about ancient religion
Who is the founder of the Ancient Egyptian Religion?
Who is the founder of the Ancient Egyptian Religion?
These days if you turn on National Geographic or the Discovery channel you can be sure to run into a program that talks about ancient Egypt and the Pyramids. It is fairly obvious that Pharaonic Egypt continues to exercise a profound fascination on people’s minds. Modern folk are not exception, but the rule, for almost every period in history was mesmerized by the mystery of ancient Egypt. Starting with the Greeks, continuing with the Romans, Islamic culture, the Renaissance down to the present, Egypt continues to embody the mystery of the beginnings of civilization. For most people, the legacy of Egypt is a dead culture buried deep within the sands of the Valley of Kings: but for many of those studying or practicing Hermeticism, it is still very much alive. Today, it is becoming more and more likely that at least part of the ancient Egyptian heritage passed through the figure of the god Thoth to an offshoot of him, Hermes Trismegistus, and then on to the modern times.

Ancient Egyptian religion is still shrouded in mystery, despite the translations of the hieroglyphs. Today we associate this religion mostly with the cult of Osiris and Isis, as well as the sun-god Re. However, it now appears that the god Thoth was an equally, or eventually more important god than these.

I must confess that I have encountered problems trying to unearth the mysterious figure of Thoth. There’s hardly anything up-to-date written about him: my main sources had to remain at the level of 1922’s classic by P. Boylan (1) and a 1973 book by J.C. Bleeker (2), none of which cover the late antique transformation of Thoth into Hermes Trismegistus. For Hermes and Hermes Trismegistus there is quite an enlightening book written by the founder of Western Esotericism research, A. Faivre (3). Yet in the end the information on Thoth is sadly disjointed, not updated and fragmentary, as if destined to perpetuate the myth and mystique of this shadowy god!

The name of Thoth is shrouded in mystery to begin with – scholars have not been able to establish an etymology (4). What is known is that he was the moon god, and he associated mainly with the ibis. Why the ibis is not clear either. It has been conjectured that the ibis’ beak has the shape of the crescent moon (5) or that the black and white of the feathers suggest the moon’s phases (6). What is fairly straightforward is that the ibis is a bird yet living mostly on the ground and near the Nile Delta – hence a trinity of the elements of air, earth and water.

In addition to the moon, Thoth has been described as the god of writing, scribes, wisdom, magic, night, the dead and natural law. If this sounds like a hodge-podge of characteristics, there is in fact a deeper connection between all these elements. Thoth is the minor key, lunary counterpart to the bright Re sun-god – his younger brother, his messenger and scribe (7). Thoth represents the mysterious, dark moonlight that paradoxically enlightens and confounds the mind. Perhaps C.J. Jung put it in the best way when he said that moonlight is soft, smooth, and unites objects rather than differentiates them as sunlight does (8). We customarily say that there is ‘magic’ to the moon. Hence Thoth is the master of magic and all of those ambiguous arts that both clarify and baffle: divination, astrology and alchemy. There is light (wisdom, understanding, law) and darkness (mystery, death) in the figure of Thoth. In fact he has the uncanny ability of uniting both of them, hence his attribute of appeaser, of go-betweener. In a popular myth, he is the one who makes peace between the warring Horus (sun, order, good) and Seth (darkness, chaos, evil). He thus puts an end to war by sacrificing his arm in the name of peace, but in the aftermath he restores the plenitude of all three wounded (9). Is it perhaps from this triad of Horus – Seth – Thoth that Hermes Trismegistus (Thrice Great) comes from? In any case, Thoth’s ability to heal wounds makes him the archetype of physicians.

As “physician”, Thoth also seems to hold the keys to the renewal and rebirth of the body. In another important myth, he is the one to breathe life into the dead god Osiris, and proclaims him the god of the heavens (10). In the famous Book of the Dead, the passed-away person takes the image of – or becomes Thoth (11). Perhaps this is an early sign of that likeable quality of Thoth that later transformed him into Hermes Trismegistus: his underlying humanity. He is, after all, the one who knows people’s hearts (12).

Thoth is also the guardian of the cosmic order – perhaps not in the way we understand order now, but as a balance between order and chaos (Horus and Seth). It is no wonder that he was called “A’an”, the god of equilibrium (13). As the one in the middle of the warring factions, he sets a law of the just measure: for instance, he is credited with appeasing the fiery goddess Tefnet and transforming her into a benevolent goddess (14). He is also the law-giver and the judge, making decisions in regards to the heir of Egypt’s throne, Osiris’ place amongst the gods, Horus and Seth quarrels etc.

As a conclusion, I will simply let Thoth introduce himself according to a fragment:

“I, Thoth, am the eminent writer, pure of hands…the writer of the truth, whose horror is the lie… the lord of the laws…I teach ma-a-t (order, universal law) to the gods, I test (each) word for its veracity…I am the leader of the sky, the earth, and the nether-world” (15). This is a god with a claim to universality, hidden knowledge, and of the divine, ordering Word, who is a loving teacher of humanity.

It is a fact that the world today is very religious. One needs only to examine how many religions there are as opposed to the single direction of “Atheism” to see this. Many feel that the tendency towards some sort of faith is proof for the existence of God. Many claim to derive great power from their religious practices. Many believe that their specific belief system is the only truth and that the whole world should be converted to their views. So why not you? There are about as many good arguments against religion as there are for it.

The religious drive was developed in very primitive societies. Human beings could not understand what they saw and experienced. Lightning was a scary mystery and crop growth was subject to scarcity and abundance at apparent random. People needed religion to explain the world to themselves. Religion was their weapon against the fear of life and the fear of death.

Despite the fact that people have meanwhile discovered science to explain the world to themselves, ancient religion survives well, as does the fear. One reason for this could be a type of “sheep” or “follow the leader” mentality. People are unwilling to trouble themselves with too much critical thinking, and therefore accept whatever they learn from their parents. This is the conformist paradigm.

Another reason is, as mentioned above, fear. There are all sorts of fear attached to religion: eternal damnation takes up a significant part of the religious energy. Christians for example believe that all non-Christians are damned to eternal hell. In more immediate terms, some are afraid that that life itself would be meaningless without religion, not to mention what such a lack of belief would mean for death.

This fear is responsible for many a religious atrocity. Religious leaders use it to their own advantage and the disadvantage of many. In ancient societies, human beings may have been simple enough to listen to their leaders without thinking about what they heard. But we live in the information society.

We have the freedom and the right to choose what to believe and what to discard. We are intelligent enough to decide what makes sense and what does not. We have the knowledge to determine who is self-serving and fraudulent and who is genuinely interested in serving the human evolutionary process.

We no longer have to kill or maim to bring our point across, and yet this still happens. We are no longer obliged to believe any specific thing, and yet we still do. Not learning from history seems to be our only consistent trait.

If more people grounded their views in the human rather than the religious viewpoint, perhaps we might have less starvation and murder in the world. We may have fewer power-hungry leaders who kill in the name of God, more who serve life rather than death, and peace rather than fear. A loving heart can change everything.

Ancient Calendars of the Holy Bible

Advancements in calendar research and the Holy Bible announce a new discovery. The Begat Genealogy of Adam in chapter 5 of Genesis measures time according to ancient lunar/solar calendars. Long ago, the Lord embedded His message of lunar/solar calendar use within the earliest scriptures of the Bible. The moon and sun were the heavenly time keepers for the very ancients. Observation was the only way to determine a calendar. The Creative Week helped plant early seeds of faith. Scriptures record the oldest calendar patterns. To the immemorial ones of antiquity, the keys of time unlocked the doors to the spirit and soul, and to eternal life and death. Operation of the calendar is the most precious eternal wisdom that mankind will ever grasp.

God’s eternal time is the heavenly realm. Calendars are the human way to measure portions of God’s eternity. Days, weeks, months, and years are all components of the calendar. Time builds to longer periods that usually involve multiples of years. A 10-year decade is a multiple of ten years. The 100-year century and the 1000-year millennium are larger multiples of years. Our modern year is a solar year with almost 365 and one-fourth days per year. We measure the year by watching the sun’s position against the stars. If you have ever missed an appointment or arranged schedules, you know what a precise calendar means to us. General agreement unites people who use the same version of the calendar.

Very early people applied these same time concepts to their calendar. They used two luminaries in the Bible, namely the sun and moon. The greater luminary was of course, the sun. The sun’s daytime position was sited to the horizon to mark the solar year. Nighttime phases of the moon marked the other half of lunar/solar time. Solar and lunar chronology lasts forever. Calendar arithmetic is crucial to understanding time reckoning patterns. Essential intercalary time was added in the form of lunar/solar separation time in this work. The original, simple lunar/solar calendar system grew for multiples of years, hundreds of years and even thousands of years. The Creative Week begins the calendar and the age of Judeo-Christianity. Imagine the spiritual insights of our Patriarchs. The greatest achievements, civilizations, kings, floods, joys, famines, wars, fears and tears would all come and go. My God, humanity is marvelous and unknown.

The grandeur of lunar/solar time reckoning unfolds before us. The earliest Bible followers required astronomy, mathematics and communication skills necessary to transfer such astonishing information down through the society. Tremendous layers, or steps, of time increment the lunar/solar sequence. Ages recorded for Adam and his descendants highlight a very sophisticated culture. An epic time scale of these proportions suggests a people with remarkable abilities. Present viewpoints diminish the abilities of prehistoric humans. Biblical stories and mythology lend new appreciation involving religious ideals. An evolved social structure persevered to maintain the lunar/solar calendar system. Early humanity was endowed with comprehension and aptitude equal to modern people. The calendar is a door to the awesome power of the Lord.

Ancient calendars provide the tools we need to reconstruct this early calendar system of Genesis. The three oldest known calendars furnish lunar/solar reckoning insights. The Jewish Calendar, the Egyptian Calendar and the ancient Sun Kingdoms’ Calendars of the Americas contribute variations in time parameters. Time cycles are a necessary calendar focal point. However, discussion may imply names and meanings outside traditional creeds. Pursuant research should not be misconstrued. Fragmentary evidence from other calendar systems, such as the calendar of Enoch, seventh descendant from Adam is incorporated. We will be using other sacred texts, like the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Book of Jubilees and information from various Hebrew Encyclopedias. We will penetrate to the past extreme.

Calendar knowledge is sacred ground to the Lord. Readers should conform to study this material with a reverent posture. We seek a closer walk with God rather than transgress with impiety in our hearts. Our learning objectives embrace multicultural faiths. Ancient calendars of the Holy Bible center lunar/solar time analysis upon Judeo-Christian teachings.

People long ago knew calendar secrets lead to the supernatural. Spiritual borders were crossed every time a Sabbath or holiday was observed. Active worship enhanced the speed and efficiency of prayer calling. Time projections were designed to achieve results. Early religion and calendar rituals were united. Priests and astronomers once shared the class of religious elect. They created futures for social benefit. Responsibility for controlling information was the hallmark of the elders.

Privileged groups including royalty and Shaman priests performed cultural steering according to ceremonies marked by the agricultural calendar. Offerings and sacrifices were integrated with festivals. Superstitions, prophecies and visions had significance. Ancient religion tended to wrap calendar secrets in mythology and oral stories. Righteous victory in one camp was another’s evil curse. Hidden temple rites of the Egyptian neophyte priest exhibit a controlling theme. Secret doctrines from the fallen angel, Enoch are known to have influential aspects via calendar impressions. Mystical lore was asserted from ruling authorities.

Traditional Judeo-Christianity recognizes one omnipotent Almighty. Followers believe all things are subordinate to God. In a spiritual dimension, we tend to class events within the kingdoms of good and evil. Calendar research manages a very fine line between these schools of thought. There are numerous arguments on each side. Spiritual forces are largely subjective. Prevailing opinion, emotion, level of intent and other factors weigh in our personal judgment. We have to exercise caution here. There are reasons behind all the secrecy. Time is fluid and dynamic in nature. The Lord works in mysterious ways. At this point, I should insert some of my personal testimony.

I started linking 19 and 20-year cycles of lunar/solar time reckoning and the calendars of the Sun Kingdoms. Definite calendar agreements had attracted my intuition. Previously, I had not studied any of the mechanics of the Jewish calendar. I knew very little about Judaism, or its associated calendar. I had only read that it was extremely old. I wanted to see if there were relationships between the Jewish calendar and those of the Americas.

Ancient lunar/solar calendars like the Jewish and Mayan calendars provide the background to understanding early time. Ancient calendars of the Holy Bible use differences between the moon and sun, numerical matching and a 364-day calendar year to describe X-number of days that match with X-number of years.
